Inserting the Battery

Your camera uses a rechargeable Nikon EN-EL2 lithium-ion battery (in- cluded).

		1	Open the battery-chamber/memory
	c		card slot cover.
2			• Slide the battery-chamber/memory card
	d		slot cover (c) and open it (d).
First	c	2 Insert the battery.
Steps			• Press the orange battery latch to side (c)
			and insert the battery as shown on the la-
			bel on the inside of the cover (d).
			• The battery latch locks battery in place
			(e).

3 Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

•Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover (c) and slide back into place (d).

•Make sure that the battery-chamber cov- er is properly latched.
