Description of Hardware 1

Port and Power Status LEDs

The switch includes a display panel for key system and port indications that simplify installation and network troubleshooting. The LEDs, which are located on the front panel for easy viewing, are shown below and described in the following tables.

LED		Condition	Status
Fast Ethernet Ports		(Ports 1-24)
Link/Act		On/Flashing Green	Port has established a valid network connection.
(Link/Activity)			Flashing indicates activity.
		Off	There is no valid link on the port.
1000 Mbps		On Green	Port is operating at 1000 Mbps.
		Off	Port is operating at 10 or 100 Mbps.
