BIOS UTILITY

The BIOS utility is a hardware configuration program built into your computer's BIOS.

Your computer is already properly configured and optimized, and you do not need to run this utility. However, if you encounter configuration problems, you may need to run it.

To enter the BIOS utility, do the following:

Ensure your computer is completely powered off (See "Turning your computer on and off" on page 16). Press and hold the Windows button and then press the Power button.

Boot sequence

To set the boot sequence in the BIOS utility, activate the BIOS utility, then select the Boot option in the left pane. Under "Boot priority order", change the sequence as desired.

Setting passwords

To set a password on boot, activate the BIOS utility, then select Security from the left pane. Under "Set Supervisor Password", select Enter. Enter your desired password and select OK. Under "Password on Boot:", set the option to Enabled.
