WAN IP Setup - Frame Relay IP Setup Instructions

(required if the Total Access 600R is to be used for Frame Relay IP Routing on the WAN interface)

1From the Main Menu, select ROUTER, select CONFIG, and then select WAN.

2Set the L2 PROTOCOL to FRAME RELAY.

3Press Enter on the FRAME RELAY [+] option.

4Set the MAINTENANCE PROTOCOL to ANNEX D, ANNEX A, LMI, OR STATIC.

The MAINTENANCE PROTOCOL should be set based on the Frame Relay switch.

1From the Main Menu, select ROUTER, select CONFIG, and press Enter on the FRAME RELAY [+] option.

2Press Enter on DLCI MAPPING [+]. Right arrow one time to create an entry.

3Set ACTIVE to YES.

4Set DLCI to the DLCI number.

5Press Enter on the IP MAP [+].

6Set ACTIVE to YES.

7Set IARP to NO.

Far-End IP Address The far-end WAN IP address from the Total Access 600R.

Local IP
