Use the ETHERNET menu (Figure 8) to configure the Ethernet port on the 600R.

This is used to setup the IP address for the LAN on the 600R.

IP Address

The IP address assigned to the 600R's Ethernet port is set here. This address must be unique within the network. Default is 10.0.0.1.

Subnet Mask

This is the IP network mask that is to be applied to the 600R's Ethernet port. Default is 255.255.255.0.

Default Gateway

The default gateway is used by the 600R to send IP packets whose destination address is not found in the route table. Default is 0.0.0.0.

RIP

Use this menu to enable RIP on the LAN interface.
