You can use the sleep timer to turn the radio off or to stop playing back a disc automatically after up to 1 hour 59 minutes.

•Before setting, tune in to a station or start CD play. 1 Set ALARM/POWER to nSTANDBY.

2 While holding down SLEEP, press MIN to set the time to turn off the radio or stop playing back a disc.

To cancel the sleep timer, press SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF.

To set the time longer than 59 minutes

While holding down SLEEP, press HOUR once in step 2, then press MIN.

To use both the sleep timer and the alarm

You can fall asleep listening to the radio and still be awakened by the radio/buzzer alarm at a preset time.

1Set the alarm timer referring to steps 1 – 2 on page 18.

2While holding down SLEEP, press MIN to set the sleep timer.

To check the remaining time of the sleep timer

Press SLEEP.
