1Set ALARM/POWER to ON.
2Set FM/AM/CD to select FM or AM.
3Turn the TUNING control to tune in to a station.
4Adjust the volume.
To turn off the radio
Set ALARM/POWER to nSTANDBY.
Listening with the headphones
Connect the headphones (not supplied) to the ! jack. FM broadcasts are heard in stereo and AM broadcasts are heard in monaural.
When the headphones are connected, sound from the speaker will not be heard.
For better reception → A
FM: Extend the FM wire antenna fully.
AM: Turn the unit to find the position which gives the best reception.
Note
Do not connect the FM wire antenna to an external antenna.
