For example, a network administrator can use Guest VLANs to deny network access via port-based
authentication, but grant Internet access to unauthorized users. The possible field values are:
–Enable — Enables Guest VLANs.
–Disable — Disables Guest VLANs.
•Guest VLAN ID — Lists the currently defined VLANs.
2. Click Enable Port Access.
3. Select the Authentication Method.
4. Define the VLAN fields
5. Click Apply. The 802.1x access is configured globally and device information is updated.
To modify port based authentication settings:
1. Click Settings. The Port Authentication Settings Page opens:

The Port Authentication Settings Page contains the following port authentication parameters:
•Port — Displays a list of interfaces on which port-based authentication is enabled.
•User Name — Displays the supplicant user name.
