Defining GVRP
This section explains how to configure GVRP on the device. GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) is
specifically provided for automatic distribution of VLAN membership information among VLAN-aware bridges.
GVRP allows VLAN-aware bridges to automatically learn VLANs to bridge ports mapping, without having to
individually configure each bridge and register VLAN membership. This section describes the following topics:

GVRP cannot be configured if MSTP is enabled on the device.
The Default button returns all GVRP parameter settings to their default values.
Caution
The settings for the three GVRP timers must be the same on all GVRP-active devices in your network.

Configuring GVRP

To define GVRP on the device:
1. Click Layer 2 > GVRP. The GVRP Page opens:
