Changing the down sampling setting

Converts linear PCM (LPCM) voice signals recorded on the DVD disc to downsampling 48 kHz/16 bit digital signals and outputs them from the optical cable.

 

Select “DOWN SAMPLING” under

BAND

“Changing the default settings

(SET UP)” on page 24.

Move the “Joystick” up and down to choose “ON” or “OFF” and, then press “ENT”.

The digital signals recorded on the DVD disc with 96 kHz/24bit, 96 kHz/20bit, 96 kHz/16bit, 48 kHz/24bit, 48 kHz/20bit sampling are converted into digital signals with 48 kHz/16bits sampling for output from the optical cable.

Set to ON at time of shipment from factory.

The digital signals recorded on the DVD disc with 96 kHz/24bit, 96 kHz/20bit, 96 kHz/16bit, 48 kHz/24bit, 48 kHz/20bit sampling are not converted into digital signals with 48 kHz/16bits sampling. They are not output from the optical cable.
