Triple-click Home is normally turned off.

Set the Triple-click Home function: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-click Home, then choose the feature you want.

Zoom

The Zoom accessibility feature lets you magnify the entire screen to help you see what’s on the display.

Turn Zoom on or off: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom. Or, use Triple-click Home. See “Triple-click Home” on page 116.

Zoom in or out

Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified

200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-

and-drag gesture, described below), iPad automatically returns to that

magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.

Increase magnification

With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the screen (to

increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease

magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except

you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on

the screen. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.

Move around the screen

When zoomed in, drag or flick the screen with three fingers. Once you start

dragging, you can drag with a single finger so that you can see more of

the screen. Hold a single finger near the edge of the display to pan to that

side of the screen image. Move your finger closer to the edge to pan more

quickly. When you open a new screen, Zoom always goes to the top-middle

of the screen.

While using Zoom with an Apple Wireless Keyboard, the screen image follows the insertion point, keeping it in the center of the display. See “Using an Apple Wireless Keyboard” on page 31.

Large Text

Large Text lets you make the text larger in Mail and Notes. You can choose 20-point, 24-point, 32-point, 40-point, 48-point, or 56-point text.

Set the text size: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text.

White on Black

Use White on Black to invert the colors on the iPad display, which may make it easier to read the screen. When White on Black is turned on, the screen looks like a photographic negative.

Invert the screen’s colors: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > White on Black.

Speak Selection

Even with VoiceOver turned off, you can have iPad read aloud any text you can select.

Turn on Speak Selection and adjust speaking rate: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Speak Selection.

Have text read to you

Select the text, then tap Speak.

The Apple MD511LL/A, MD523LL/A, MD526LL/A, MD514LL/A, and MD518LL/A are models of MacBook Pro that were introduced in the early 2013 timeframe. Known for their sleek design and powerful performance, these laptops are ideal for professionals and everyday users seeking a reliable machine for various tasks.

One of the standout features of these MacBook Pro models is the Retina display. With a resolution of 2880 x 1800 for the 15-inch models, the Retina display offers stunning visuals with vibrant colors and sharp details. This makes it perfect for graphic design, video editing, and photo manipulation, as users can see their work with incredible clarity.

These MacBook Pros are powered by Intel's fourth-generation Core processors, with options ranging from the Core i5 to the Core i7. This means users can experience fast processing speeds and improved performance for multitasking and intensive applications. The inclusion of Intel Iris and GeForce GT 650M graphics in certain models also enhances their capability, particularly for graphic-intensive tasks and gaming.

Memory is a crucial aspect of performance, and these MacBook Pros offer varied configurations. Most models feature a minimum of 4GB of RAM, with options to upgrade to 8GB or even 16GB, allowing for smooth multitasking and efficient handling of large software applications.

Storage options are diverse, with SSDs providing rapid access to files and applications. These SSDs generally range from 128GB to 1TB, ensuring that users have ample space for their data and enjoy improved read/write speeds that significantly enhance overall system responsiveness.

Connectivity is another strong point, with models equipped with multiple USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt ports, and an HDMI output. This variety allows users to connect a plethora of devices, from external displays to storage solutions and more.

The design of these MacBook Pro models emphasizes portability and durability. They feature an aluminum unibody construction that not only looks premium but also contributes to the overall sturdiness of the laptop. Battery life is also impressive, offering around 7 to 8 hours of usage on a single charge, making them suitable for both work and play on the go.

In conclusion, the Apple MD511LL/A, MD523LL/A, MD526LL/A, MD514LL/A, and MD518LL/A MacBook Pro models exemplify a blend of aesthetics and functionality. With their Retina displays, powerful processors, ample memory, and solid build quality, they cater to a wide range of user needs, standing out as excellent choices in the laptop market.
