To send a call to another
extension or outside
number
1Press [ Transfer ]
●Present call is put on hold
●Red light next to [ Transfer ] flutters
2When you hear dial tone, dial number to which call is to be transferred (third party)
●Remain on line and announce call when third party answers
●If the number of third party is busy, there is no answer, or the person is unavailable, return to held call, continue the conversation, and then hang up.
3If third party answers and will accept the transferred call, press [ Transfer ] again
●Party on hold is transferred to third party
●Your voice terminal is released from call
●Light next to [ Transfer ] goes off when call is successfully transferred
4Hang up
Note: You can transfer a call from an extension to an outside number. You cannot transfer a call from an outside number to another outside number.
Note: If the number to which you are transferring the call is busy or no one answers, press the call appearance button next to the flashing green light. The incomplete call is disconnected, and you are reconnected with the call on hold.
