Wouldn’t it be nice to have your five most
prominent contacts availabl e for calling by the
push of a button?
This is what Speed Dials is all about. Th e five
soft keys at the top of the keypad ca n be
assigned for this – pretty muc h in the same
way as favourites or bookmarks in yo ur web
browser. Note that you are not restrict ed
to use Speed Dials for video calls onl y. Any
mixture of video and telephone c alls is fully
acceptable.
You assign those five buttons in the G eneral
Settings menu described in Adminstr ator’s
Guide (separate document). Note tha t your
System Adminstrator may, or may not, have
password protection activ ated to prevent
unauthorized alterations of t hese and other
settings. If in doubt, consult your S ystem
Adminstrator.

out of five Speed Dials soft
keys assigned to Phone
Book entries, this key is not
assigned.

Using Speed Dials to make calls is very e asy.
Just press the correspondin g soft key and the
call will be made. No need to worry a bout the
Call Settings – they are defined by t he Phone
Book settings for that par ticular entry.
Note! You must assign at
least one of your contacts
to the Speed Dials feature
to make these soft keys
appear.
