3Operations
In operation, the Emerge EMS units are designed to be completely transparent - high quality video and audio from the source PC system are played as normal, the only difference is that they are now being seen and heard up to 1000 feet away (600 feet maximum for EMS1000P models).
Indicators
All Emerge EMS units are equipped with two indicators to confirm operation and, if necessary, assist with quick troubleshooting of potential problems.
The indicators are located on one of the end panels, near to the LINK port and operate as follows:
• | RED | When lit, indicates the presence of power into the unit, |
• | GREEN | When lit, indicates the presence of a video input into the unit. |
