Two Identical Negative Voltages With a Common
Positive (Refer To Fig. 13)
When the same negative voltage is required at two points
in the same circuit and a common positive is needed,
perform the following:
1. Select the TRACKING PARALLEL operating mode
and set the A/B Metering switch to monitor the “A”
supply.
2. Set the desired voltage and maximum current using the
“A” VOLTAGE and CURRENT controls.
3. Connect a ground wire between the “A” supply positive
terminal and the GND (green) terminal.
4. Turn off the power supply and the equipment to be
powered during hook-up.
5. Connect the negative polarity inputs of the circuit to be
powered to the negative (black) terminals of the
supplies. Connect the common positive input of the
circuit to be powered to the “A” supply’s positive (red)
or GND (green) terminal.
