CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Sunlight (ultraviolet rays), water and swimming pool chemicals create a harsh environment. To increase the lifespan of the Zodiac 1500and hose, you should:

1.Remove the Zodiac 1500 from the pool before super chlorinating or other chemical balancing and re-install a minimum of four hours later.

2.Always store the hoses straight (in the original box if possible). To prevent memory, never coil the hose. (Coiled hose may be straightened with hot water or by laying the hose in the sun on a warm deck for several hours.)

3.If you should develop an algae or chemical imbalance problem, remove the Zodiac 1500, follow the advice of a qualified pool professional, and reinstall the Zodiac 1500 when the imbalance is corrected. Chemical damage is not covered under the warranty.

4.Thoroughly clean the skimmer basket, pump basket and pool filter on a regular basis. ALWAYS disconnect the hose from the skimmer or vacuum line BEFORE backwashing your filter.
