h.Foam cover is not in place on the listening cone. Make sure the foam cover is on the listening cone.
i. There is foreign matter in the listening cone. Remove the foam cover and make sure there is nothing in the listening cone.
2.There is feedback (squealing noises) when you use your Prenatal Heart Listener®.
a.The volume is too high. Turn the volume down by turning the wheel to the left.
b.Lower the volume before moving the Prenatal Listener® against your skin.
3.You cannot record from your Prenatal Heart Listener®.
a.The recording cable is not plugged in correctly. Make sure the L- shaped end of the recording cable is securely plugged into either jack on the Prenatal Listener® and the straight end into the line input of your recorder.
b.The recorder is not working. Make sure the recorder works. Replace batteries if necessary.
c.The volume control is turned down on your recorder. Increase the volume.
4.There is too much background noise and it makes a scratching sound when you move it.
a.Turn the volume down BEFORE you move the Prenatal Heart Listener® from one spot to the next and don't turn it up again until you are no longer moving it against your stomach.
