You can switch to the next or prior port with simple keyboard key

sequences using the “Scroll Lock” key and either the up or down arrow

keys. To send commands to the MATRIX2, the “Scroll Lock” key must be

pressed twice within two seconds. A “beep” will sound, confirming that

the MATRIX2 is in hot key mode. Next, press the up or down arrow keys,

and the MATRIX2 will switch to either the prior port or the next port.

You can switch directly to any port by entering the two-digit BANK

address followed by the two-digit number of the port you wish to access.

For example, if you press “Scroll Lock”, “Scroll Lock”, “00”, “02”, the

MATRIX2 will switch to the computer on port 2 located on BANK 00.

Note: You will have approximately five seconds to complete each hot

key sequence.

If you have daisy-chained multiple switches (MATRIX2s) together, use the

BANK scroll keys located on the front panel of the Primary switch to

access other computers that are connected to the Secondary switches.

Pressing the “BANK +” and “BANK -” scroll buttons on the Primary switch

will allow you to switch between the daisy-chained MATRIX2s. Pressing

both buttons simultaneously will reset the MATRIX2.

The “BANK +” button will take you to the next BANK. For example, when

you are at the Primary switch (BANK 00) and want to check computers on

BANK 02. Pressing the “BANK +” button will take you to BANK 02. As a

default, the first active computer will be displayed on the Console

monitor. Use the direct-access port selector to go to the desired computer

on BANK 02.

The “BANK -” button will take you to the previous BANK. For example,

when you are at BANK 02 and want to check computers in BANK 01.

Pressing the “BANK -” button will take you to BANK 01. As a default, the

first active computer will be displayed on the Console monitor. Use the

direct-access port selector to go to the desired computer on BANK 01.
