5.5 Operation of the Application Software

Video Matrix Switching Software is a compatible application that can be used with this series of Matrix Switches.

Requirements to run the software:

•Operating system: Windows® 98/2000/NT, Windows XP®, Windows 7

•Memory: at least 32 MB

•Space in hard disk: at least 10 MB

•CD-ROM

•COM port

When the Matrix Switch connects to the COM1 or COM2 of the computer with control software, users can control the switch with that computer. You can do so by using the application “Matrix Software“ on the supplied CD-ROM or you may use a third-party control software.
