CAUTION!
If older recordings are not allowed to be overwritten when the available memory capacity has
! been used, the recording in question will be stopped. You can specify limitations for overwriting old recordings by configuring the retention time (see Section 5.24 Advanced Mode: Retention Time, page 58).
Formatting Storage Media
You can delete all recordings on a storage medium at any time.
CAUTION!
! Check the recordings before deleting and back up important sequences on the computer's hard drive.
1. Click a storage medium in the Managed storage media list to select it.
2. Click the Edit button below the list. A new window will open.
3. Click the Formatting button to delete all recordings in the storage medium.
4. Click OK to close the window.
Deactivating Storage Media
You can deactivate any storage medium from the Managed storage media list. It is then no longer used for recordings.
1.Click a storage medium in the Managed storage media list to select it.
2.Click the Remove button below the list. The storage medium is deactivated and removed from the list.
5.22 | Advanced Mode: Remote Video Device |
You can allow a remote video device to use the VideoJet X20 storage media. This means you can record video images from a camera that does not have its own storage media, for example. Once you have entered the IP address of the remote video device and saved it by pressing Set, the VideoJet X20 is then displayed for selection in the Storage Management for the remote video device.
IP Address
Enter the IP address for the remote video device.
1.If you do not know the IP address, click the Network Scan button. The search for possible devices in the network is started. A small arrow is then displayed next to the IP Address field.
2.Click the arrow to display the list of devices detected.
3.Click the required device in the list to transfer its IP address.
