Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses Gerät – nach Wahl des Käufers zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsan- sprüchen gegen den Verkäufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach unserer Wahl durch Reparatur oder Austausch des Gerätes unentgeltlich alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungs- fehlern beruhen. Colour Saver Technology
Colour Saver Technology with satin ions maintains the precious health of colored hair as it protects your hair from dry out and damage and prevents moisture loss of coloured hair by up to 50%* while styling. As satin ions are released onto your hair a slight crackling noise can be heard.

Getting started
•Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet and push the «on/off» button (5) for 1 second to turn it on.
•During heat up, the display turns orange/red. The appliance is delivered with a default setting for normal hair, medium. The thermometer symbol is flashing [A] as long as the temperature for the displayed setting is not reached.
•After approx. 30 seconds, the display turns green to indicate that you can start using the appliance. As soon as the tem- perature for the selected setting is reached, the thermometer symbol stops flashing.
•Personalized settings: Using the hair type selectors (3), you can adjust the temperature for fine, normal and thick hair. Within each hair type, you have the choice between a low, medium and high setting.
•When changing the hair type setting, the display turns orange/ red and the thermometer symbol flashes again. When the display turns green, you can go ahead with styling.
•«boost» function: For handling difficult hair strands, you can instantly increase the operating temperature by pushing the «boost» button (4). For 20 seconds, the appliance will increase its temperature by 20 °C with the backlight flashing. Afterwards, the appliance switches back to the previously selected temperature.
•Safety auto off: For safety reasons, the appliance automatically switches off after 30 minutes. Five minutes prior to switching off, the display shows «auto off» [E] along with a red flashing backlight. If you want to keep on straightening, simply press the «on/off» button (5) again shortly.
•Memory function: In order to make your styling session as convenient and quick as possible, the appliance stores your last personalised settings for the next usage.

Preparation
•Make sure your hair is completely dry before using the appliance.
•First, comb your hair through with a wide toothed comb to remove tangles [G].

How to straighten your hair
•Gently run the straightener through the entire length of the hair, slowly and steadily, from roots to the ends [I] without stopping for longer than 2 seconds. This will ensure best straightening results without damaging your hair. Since the NanoGlide Ceramic plates are 3 times smoother than conventional ceramic plates, they protect your hair from damage by providing
•For improved control when gliding along a strand, you may stabilise the appliance by holding it with the other hand on the cool touch points (1).
•You can create flicks at the hair ends by slowly turning the appliance either outwards or inwards before releasing a strand.
How to form curls
With the Braun satinliner, you can also create loose curls and waves [J]:
–Clamp a strand at the roots,
–turn the appliance half a turn,
–then slowly move the appliance horizontally towards hair ends and the strand will turn into curl.
After use
After each use, switch off the appliance by pushing the «on/off» button (5) for 1 second.

As long as the appliance is not unplugged, the display turns red and shows the cooling down symbol [F] during the cooling down
