Aussie burger

500gminced beef
1cup fresh bread crumbs
1small onion, peeled and finely chopped
1teaspoon commercially prepared crushed garlic
1tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1egg, lightly beaten
Tocook and serve;
6bacon rashers
6hamburger buns or full grain rolls
1250g tinbeetroot slices,drained
2vine ripenedtomatoes, thinly sliced
tomatosauce
6cheddar cheese slices
14iceberglettuce heart,shredded
PreheatIkon Grilluntil thegreen ‘Read y’
lightilluminates.
1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
andmix thoroughly.Form mince into 4 patties.
Setaside.
2. Place patties on grill and allow the top plate to
reston the patties. Adjust the Grilling Height
Controlto the thickness of the pattie. Cook for
4-5minutes.
3. Place bacon on grill. Lightly spread buns with
butteror margarine.
4. Place a pattie on each bun and top with bacon,
beetroot,tomato, toma to sauce and cheese.Add
lettuceto burgers and place reser ved roll halves
ontop.
Serve immediately.

4half chicken breast fillets
1tablespoon mirin
2tablespoons soy sauce
2teaspoons caster sugar
2teaspoons cooking sake
Toserve;
Lemonwedges
Steamedrice
Saladof green leaves

1. Combine mirin, soy sauce and sake.Place chicken
ina stainless steel baking dish and pour prepared
marinadeover. Allow to standfor 30minutes
beforecooking.
2. Place chicken on grill and allow top plate to gently
reston chicken.
3. Cook for 4-5 minutes until chicken is
cookedthrough.
4. Remove and allow to rest for 5 minutes before
serving on a bed of steamed rice.Garnish with
lemonwedges and accompany with a salad of
greenleaves.
