Using the plate release feature

YourIkon Grill features aplate “Release” button

whichallows you to separa tely remove the top and

bottomgrill plates.It also enablesyou tosafely and

convenientlywash your grill plates.

Releasing the grill plates

1. Aftercooking allow the Ikon Grill to cool do wn.

2. Toremove the grill plates press the “Release”

buttonslocated on the front on the top and

bottompanel. The plateswill unlockfrom the

frontwhere they can then be released

individually(See Fig 3).

3. Oncereleased hold the plates and remove

(See Fig 4).

Using the adjustable grillingheight control feature

YourIkon Grill features anAdjustable Grilling Height

Controlfeature which allo ws you to fix the top plate

toa range of positions above the bottom plate.

Thisallows your Ikon Grill to be used as an open

toasterideal fortoasting opensandwich style‘melts’.

Itcan also be used to grill delicate ingredients such

asfish and hamburger buns without squashing.

1. Allowthe Ikon Grill to prehea t until the green

‘READY’light illuminates.

2. Placethe food to be grilled on the base plate.

3. Movethe Adjustable GrillControl Slideon the

righthand side of the smart Ikon Grill to the

desiredheight (see Fig 5).

4. Slowlylo wer the top plate until it rests in the

appropriate position above the food.
