Scanning a duplex document (For models that support duplex scanning) 2

aPut the document face up in the ADF.

bCheck Duplex (Two-sided) Scanning and choose Long-edge binding or Short-edge binding (1).

cAdjust the following settings, if needed, in the Scanner Setup dialog box:

Scan (Image Type)

Resolution

Scan Type

Brightness

Contrast

Document Size

dClick Start.

Note

• You can not adjust the scanning area.

• You can not use legal size paper for duplex scanning.

• You can not use the PreScan button to preview an image .
