If you want to set the dial prefix feature to off, press Off. Go to step g.

f Enter the prefix number (up to 5 digits) by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen.

• (Canada only) If pulse dialing mode is on,
# and l are not available to use.
• You can use the numbers and symbols 0 to 9, #, and l. (You cannot use ! with any other numbers or symbols.)

Setting the backlight

The Dial Prefix setting will automatically dial a

predefined number before every fax number

You can adjust the brightness of the LCD

use this setting to automatically dial 9 for

 

backlight. If you are having difficulty reading

every fax you send.
