Advanced operation 2
You can transfer a call, make an intercom call
or use three-way calling. If you have optional
cordless handsets you must register the
handset with the machine (base unit). See
Registering additional cordless
handsets on page 3. The cordless handset
that was included with your machine (base
unit) is already registered as Handset1.
Transferring a call at the end
of a conversation 2
You can transfer a call after you speak.
From the machine (base unit) 2
aWhen you have finished speaking,
press Hold/Intercom.
bPress the number of the cordless
handset you want to transfer to.
cAfter you confirm the other person is on
the line, hang up.
Note
If no one is on the line, press
Hold/Intercom to release the call from
hold.
From the cordless handset 2
aPress Hold/Intercom when you have
finished speaking.
bPress a or b to choose Base Unit.
Press Menu/OK.
cAfter you confirm the other person is on
the line, hang up.
Note
• If no one is on the line, press
Hold/Intercom to release the call from
hold.
• If you have the optional cordless handset,
you can choose another cordless handset
in step b.
