Using the Remote Setup t o change the print server settings

Remote Setup for Windows ®

The Remote Setup applicat ion allows you to configure ne twork settings from a Windows® ap plication. When

you access this application, the settings on your machine will be downloaded automatically to your PC and

displayed on your PC screen. If you change the settings, you can upload them directly to the machine.

aClick the Start button, AllPrograms, Brother, MFC-9440CN L AN, then RemoteSetup.

bEnter a password. The default Password is “access”.

cClick TCP/IP.

dYou can now change the print server settings.

Remote Setup for Macintosh®

The Remote Setup application allows you to configure many MFC settings from a Macintosh® application.

When you access this application, the settings on your machine will be downloaded au tomatically to your

Macintosh® and displayed on your Macintosh® screen. If you change the settings, you can upload them

directly to the machine.

aDouble click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop, Library, Printers, Brother, then Utilities.

bDouble click the RemoteS etup icon.

cEnter a password. The default Password is “access”.

dClick TCP/IP.

eYou can now change the print server settings.
