Polled transmit lets you set up your machine
to wait with a document so another fax
machine can call and retrieve it.
Setup for polled transmit 10
aMake sure you are in Fax mode .
bLoad your document.
cPress Menu, 2, 2, 6.

aOn
bOff
Select ab or OK
dPress a or b to choose On (or Off).
Press OK.
ePress 2 to choose 2.No if you don ’t
want to enter more settings when the
LCD asks you the following message:

Other Settings?
a1.Yes
b2.No
Select ab or OK
fPress BlackStart .
gIf you are using the scanner glass, the
LCD will prompt you to choose one of
the options below:
Flatbed Fax:
Next Page?
a1.Yes
b2.No (Send)
Select ab or OK
Press 1 to send another page.
Go to h.
Press 2 or BlackSta rt to send the
document.
hPlace the next page on the scanner
glass, press OK. Repeat g and h for
each additional page.
Flatbed Fax:
Set Next Page
Then Press OK
Note
The document will be stored and can be
retrieved from any other fax machine until
you delete the fax from memory.
To delete the fax from memory, press
Menu, 2, 6. (See Checking and canceling
waiting jobs on page 42.)
