11 - 2 Important information

If trouble is experienced wit h this equipment, fo r repair or warranty

information, please co ntact Brother Cust omer Service. (S ee

Brother numbers on page i.) If the equipment is causin g harm to

the telephone network, the telephone company may request that

you disconnect the equipment until the problem is resolved.

Connection to party line service is subject to state tariffs. Contact

the state public utility commission, public service commission or

corporation commission for information.

If your home has specially w ired alarm equip ment connected to the

telephone line, ensure the installation of this equipment does not

disable your alarm eq uipment. If you have questions about wh at

will disable alarm equipment, call your telephone company or a

qualified installer.

If you are not able to solve a problem with the fax mach ine, call

Brother Customer Service. (See Brother numbers on page i.)

WARNING

For protection against the risk of electr ical shock, always

disconnect all cables from the wall outlet before servicing,

modifying or installing the equipment.

This equipment may not be used on coin service lines provided by

the telephone company or conn ected to party lines.
