Cannot register a handset to a base
nYou can register a total of 5 handsets to your BT Freestyle
6300 base and you can register your BT Freestyle 6300
handset to up to 4 bases. Check that you have not
exceeded these limits.
nCheck that you have entered the correct base security
PIN (default: 0000). See page 47.
nCheck that you are at least one metre away from other
electrical equipment to avoid interference when registering.
Base unit does not ring, but the lights are on
nHave you connected the telephone line correctly?
nIs the base ringer set to off? See page 45.
nYou may have a faulty line or socket. Try using another
socket or line.
Buzzing noise on my phone or on other electrical
equipment nearby
nSometimes your BT Freestyle 6300 can interfere with
other electrical equipment if it is placed too close.
Move it at least one metre away from such appliances.
