48 Answering machine

Each message is played back with the day and time of the call announced as well as the caller’s number (if available) and name if stored in the phonebook.

If there are no messages the display shows No messages.

New (unplayed) messages cannot be deleted.

Message playback

1.Press . Scroll to Answer machine. Press .

2.Play messages is highlighted. Press .

3.The handset displays the number or name of the caller if available, and the date and time it was received. Messages that have not yet been played back are indicated by an *.

During playback you have the following options:

Using the menu:

Press , then scroll or to Stop Next Repeat

Delete and press to select.

When the last message has been played back, the screen shows

End of messages.

Using the keypad, press:

to play messages over the handset speaker

or to adjust the volume

to stop playback

to repeat current message or twice to play the previous message to delete the current message

to skip forward to the next message
