Nachdem Sie zuhause oder unterwegs die Parameter der Kamera nach Ihren persönlichen Vorstellungen eingerichtet haben, ist sie bereit für den Einsatz im Freien. Stellen Sie dazu den Einschaltknopf auf “ON (Ein)”. Bei der Vorbereitung der Trophy Cam für das Ausspähen von Wild oder andere Einsätze im Freien, ist auf sichere und korrekte Befestigung der Kamera zu achten. Wir empfehlen das Anbringen der Trophy Cam an einem kräftigen Baum mit einem Durchmesser von mindestens 15cm. Für eine optimale Bildqualität sollte der Baum sich in etwa 5 Metern Entfernung zu dem beobachteten Bereich befinden, wobei die Kamera am besten in einer Höhe von 1,5 - 2 m angebracht werden sollte. Denken Sie auch daran, dass die besten Ergebnisse nachts erzielt werden, wenn sich das Zielobjekt in idealer Nähe zum Blitz befindet, und zwar in einer Entfernung von höchstens 14 aber mindestens 3 Meter zur Kamera.

Die Trophy Cam lässt sich auf zwei verschiedene Weisen aufstellen: mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Gurtband oder auf einem Stativ.

Verwenden des Gurtbands: In Abb. 5 wird die Verwendung des Gurtbands an der Trophy Cam gezeigt. Führen Sie das eine Ende des Gurtbands durch die beiden Halterungen an der Rückseite der Trophy Cam. Verbinden Sie je ein Teil der Kunststoffschnalle mit je einem Ende des Gurtbands. Zurren Sie das Band am Baum fest, bis es einen sicheren Halt hat, indem sie die beiden Enden der Schnalle miteinander verbinden, so dass kein Zwischenraum mehr vorhanden ist.
