Uso del treppiede: La fotocamera è predisposta di un attacco sull’estremità inferiore per permettere il montaggio su treppiede o su altri dispositivi di montaggio con una filettatura da 1/4-20.

Sono anche disponibili due accessori opzionali di montaggio, una scatola di metallo “Bear Safe” (Modello n. 119654C per 119476/119477, oppure modello n. 119653C per 119437/119447) ) e un supporto Deluxe per alberi (modello No 119652C); per maggiori dettagli vedere il rivenditore Bushnell o il sito web.

Angolo di sensibilità e test della distanza

Per testare se la Trophy Cam può effettivamente monitorare l’area scelta, si raccomanda questo test per controllare l’angolo di sensibilità e la distanza di monitoraggio della Trophy Cam. Per eseguire il test:

•Commutare la Trophy Cam sulla modalità SETUP.

•eseguire dei movimenti davanti alla fotocamera in diverse posizioni all’interno dell’area dove ci si aspetta si trovi il gioco o il soggetto. Provare diverse distanze ed angoli dalla fotocamera.

•Se il LED indicatore del movimento lampeggia significa che quella posizione può essere rilevata. Se non lampeggia, quella posizione è fuori dall’area di sensibilità.

Il risultato del test aiuterà a trovare la posizione migliore quando si monta e si punta la Trophy Cam. L’altezza dal terreno per il posizionamento dell’apparecchio dovrebbe variare con la dimensione dell’animale. In generale, è preferibile da 3 a 6 piedi (0,9-1,8 metri). Si possono evitare false attivazioni dovute ai disturbi di temperatura e di movimento di fronte alla fotocamera non puntando l’apparecchio ad una sorgente di calore o in vicinanza di rami di albero o fronde (specie nei giorni ventosi).

Commutare su ON la fotocamera

Nella modalità ON, il LED indicatore di movimento (rosso) lampeggerà per circa 10 secondi. Questo lascia il tempo di chiudere e bloccare il coperchio frontale della Trophy Cam e poi andare via. Durante questo intervallo di tempo, il LED indicatore lampeggerà continuamente in rosso. Dopo che si arresta il lampeggiamento, il PIR è attivo, ed ogni movimento che viene rilevato attiva la cattura di foto o video come programmato nel SETUP Menu. Assicurarsi di aver letto la descrizione del Capture Number (numero di scatti), della lunghezza del Video, dell’intervallo e deii parametri del livello del sensore. Notare che il PIR è fortemente sensibile alla temperatura ambiente.
