When installation of the NB20E/NB25E Bridge is complete and the switches have been set, connect the bridge to the power source in the following manner:
1.If you have not already done so, plug the power cord (7, Fig.
2.Plug the power cord into a wall receptacle.
3.Turn the power switch, located next to the power receptacle, to the on position.
4.Observe the status of the
When the bridge finishes its internal diagnostics, the LEDs should be in the following conditions:
•ON LINE LED lit, indicating that the bridge is receiving power.
•PORT 1 OK and PORT 2 OK lit, indicating that the ports have passed the internal loopback test and are now ready for transmission.
•STANDBY on or off, depending on the bridge's position in the Spanning Tree Algorithim.
