Troubleshooting
If you encounter the following problems, try to find the corresponding solution below. If these do not work, please contact the tech support department at Califone, or submit your question online at califone.com/techsupport.
No Sound
•Confirm that the disc play is connected firmly with other connecting systems such as the power amplifier or TV
•Confirm that the TV is running normally
•Check if the audio setting mode is correct
Disc does not play:
•Confirm that the disc has been loaded on the disc tray correctly (with label of the disc facing up)
•Check to make sure there is only one disc loaded on the tray
•Make sure that the disc is clean
Distorted picture:
•Check if the disc is scratched or dirty
•The player is controlled by computer
•Switch off the power and wait 10 seconds, restart the player
•Check if the picture output
Remote control unit does not work:
•Point the remote control unit to the remote control sensor
•Check if the batteries need to be replaced
•Check if the emitter of the remote control has been dropped or damaged
No picture, sound only:
• Make sure the picture setting output matches that of the picture input of the TV.
