Manual Exposure Shooting
You can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for advanced users.
1 | Set the Mode Dial to <k>. | |
| X The reflex mirror will make a sound, | |
| then the image will appear on the | |
| LCD monitor. |

2 Select [Movie exposure]. | ||
| Press the <M> button and under | |
| the [n] tab, select [Movie | |
| exposure], then press <0>. | |
3 Select [Manual]. | ||
| Select [Manual], then press <0>. | |
| Exit the menu. |

4 Set the shutter speed and | ||
<6> <5> | aperture. |
|
To set the shutter speed, turn the | ||
| <6> dial. The settable shutter | |
| speeds depend on the frame rate | |
| <9>. |
|
| • 8/ 7 | : 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec. |
| • 6/ 5/ 4: 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec. | |
| To set the aperture, turn the <5> |
dial. If it cannot be set, press the
<R> button (8), then turn the <5> dial.
