Shooting Movies in <E> Mode
1 Enter <E> mode.
zzSet the mode dial to <E>.
XXBlack bars displayed on the top and bottom edges of the screen indicate image areas not recorded.
2Configure the settings to suit the movie (=260 – 271).
3Shoot.
zzPress the movie button.
zzTo stop movie recording, press the movie button again.

Shooting Still Images During Movie Recording
Shoot still images during movie recording as follows.
1While shooting a movie, focus on a subject.
zzMake sure that [4] is displayed, and then press the shutter button halfway.
XXFocus and exposure are now readjusted.
(However, the camera does not beep.) XXMovie recording will continue.
2Shoot.
zzPress the shutter button all the way down.
XXYour shot will be recorded.
