Calibrating Paper Thickness
Depending on the thickness of documents scanned with the CR-55 and the paper thickness setting, double feeds or feeding errors may occur.
After installing the CR-55 or before scanning documents of a different thickness, perform the procedure below to confirm that documents are separated one sheet at a time. If documents do not feed correctly, use the paper thickness adjustment dial to adjust the size of the gap between the separation roller and feeding roller. (See p. 42.)
1 Start the Scanning Utility.
