Manual Exposure Shooting
You can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for advanced users.
1 Set the Mode Dial to <k>.
X The reflex mirror will make a sound, then the image will appear on the LCD monitor.
2 Select [Movie exposure].
Press the <M> button and under the [n] tab, select [Movie exposure], then press <0>.

3 Select [Manual]. |

4Set the shutter speed and aperture.
To set the shutter speed, turn the <6> dial. The settable shutter speeds depend on the frame rate <9>.
•8/ 7 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec.
•6/ 5/ 4: 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec. To set the aperture, hold down the <O> button and turn the <6> dial.
5 Set the ISO speed.
Press the <Z> button and press the <U> key or turn the <6> dial to select the ISO speed.
• [AUTO] setting : ISO 100 - 6400
• Manual ISO setting : ISO 100 - 6400
