•You can press to listen to the track selected. Press to stop the playback.

•Select [Off] to play back scenes with their original sound or to play back slideshows without any music.

4Back in the index screen, select (, ) the recording from which to start playback.

5Press to begin the playback set to the background music selected.

•Use the joystick guide to stop the playback.

•Select FUNC. [ Slideshow] to begin slideshow playback and press FUNC. to end it.

To delete a music track

After step 2 in the previous procedure, select the track you want to delete.

1Select () the icon and press .

2Select () [Yes] and press .

3Press FUNC. twice.

Using an External Audio Player for Background Music

Use your favorite songs as background music by connecting an external player.

POINTS TO CHECK

•You will need a commercially available audio cable with at least one mini-stereo plug (to connect to the MIC terminal on the camcorder); the other end will depend on the terminal used by the external audio player.

1Open the playlist, video snapshot or photo index screen.

•/ You can select the recordings in the built-in memory or on the memory card.

•To open the playlist index screen from the original movies index screen:

-/ For scenes in the built-in memory, press INDEX SEL. . For scenes on the memory card, press INDEX SEL. and then select [Playlist].
