Copying Facing Pages in a Book on Two Separate Sheets of Paper

The Two-page Separation mode enables you to copy facing pages in a book or a magazine onto separate sheets of paper.

IMPORTANT

When the machine is operating in the Two-page Separation mode, you cannot use the Binding Hole Erase and 2 on 1 Combination mode.

Place the original on the platen glass. You cannot copy in the Two-page Separation mode when the original is fed from the feeder.

You can set the Two-page Separation mode only on the original sizes shown on the display.

1 Place the original on the platen glass.

If you want to make copies in page order, begin copying from the first page and work your way forward. Place the original face down with the original’s top edge against the top left corner of the platen glass.
