Setting the Automatic Collate On/Off

This mode allows automatic selection of the Collate (Offset Collate) mode when the original is placed in the feeder. This is helpful when making multiple copies, because you do not need to remember to select the Finisher mode.

NOTE

•The default setting is <ON>.

•This function is available only when the Feeder (ADF-J1) is attached.

1Enter the Additional Functions menu and open the <2.COPY SETTINGS> menu.

2Press or to select <5.AUTO SORT>, and press .

When you press , the <AUTO SORT> menu appears.

3 Press or to select <ON> or <OFF>, and press .

If you want the machine to collate automatically, select <ON>.

If you do not want the machine to collate automatically, select <OFF>.

AUTO SORT

ON

When you press , the specified mode is set and the display returns to the <COPY SETTINGS> menu.

4 Press (Stop) to return to the standby mode.
