Selecting Menus and Settings

Menus are used to adjust shooting and replay settings, as well as other camera settings like the Date/Time and sounds. Menus are displayed by

pressing the or button according to the circumstances. Use the LCD monitor to perform the following procedures. See Menu Settings and Factory Defaults (p. 42) for the menu items and options.

Selecting Menu Settings with the FUNC. Button

(Shooting Mode only)

Press the

button.

The icons of the items that can be adjusted appear at the LCD monitor’s left edge.

Use the or buttons to select an item.

Use the or buttons to select an option.

The icon changes to the icon of the selected option.

Some menu items can only be selected

after pressing the button to display

the next menu. Press the button again to confirm the setting.

You can shoot right after performing these steps. The menu displays again after the shot, allowing you to change the settings easily.

Press the button.

The menu will close.
