Choose settings yourself to take various types of pictures (p. 72).

Auto Mode

You can leave it to the camera to select settings for fully automatic shooting (pp. 25, 30).

Scene Mode

Movie Mode

Choose settings yourself to shoot movies (p. 107). Even if the mode dial is set to a position other than Movie mode, movies can be shot by pressing the movie button (p. 30).

You can shoot with the best settings for the scene or add various effects and shoot (pp. 62, 63).
