Overdubbing a Performance Recording
You can use the following procedure to record a melody in Track 2 so it combines with a recording you previously made in Track 1.
1Press the RHYTHM button to enter the rhythm mode.
2Use the SONG MEMORY button to select record standby.
3Press the RIGHT/TRACK 2 button to select Track 2 as the recording track.FlashingFlashing
4Select the tone you want to use.5Press the controller block START/STOP button.
•This starts playback of Track 1 and recording in Track 2.6Play the melody notes you want as you listen to the playback from Track 1.7To stop recording, press the controller block START/ STOP button again.
•If you make a mistake, you need to go back and re- record from step 2.
•If you want to immediately hear what you recorded, press the controller block START/STOP button again.

•Track 2 is a
•If you want to record without playback from a recorded track, enter playback standby, deselect the playback track, and then enter record standby. Note, however, that you cannot turn off rhythm and Auto Accompaniment.
Track 2 Data
In addition to notes played on the keyboard, the following data is also recorded to Track 2.

Deleting a Specific Part/Track
You can use the following procedure to delete a specific part/track from a lesson recording or performance recording.
Getting Ready
■When deleting a lesson recording part•Press the SONG BANK button or PIANO BANK button.■When deleting a performance recording track•Press the RHYTHM button.1Press the SONG MEMORY button to enter record standby.2Select the part/track you want to delete by pressing the LEFT/TRACK 1 button or RIGHT/TRACK 2 button.
3Hold down the SONG MEMORY button.•This causes a confirmation message to appear on the display.•To cancel the delete operation, press theNOTE
•Pressing the SONG MEMORY button while the part/track delete screen is on the display returns to record standby.
