Computer system requirements depend on each of the applications, as described below.

*1 In the case of Windows 2000, you need to install a data file that enables use of the operating system’s standard USB driver. You do not need to install a special USB driver. Proper operation is not guaranteed on a computer that has been upgraded from Windows 95 or 3.1 to Windows Me or 98, or from Windows 95 or NT to Windows 2000.
*2 With Windows XP, use the USB driver that comes with the operating system. You do not need to install the USB driver that comes with the camera.

•USB connection is supported on a Macintosh running OS 9, 10.1, 10.2, or 10.3. Operation is supported using the standard USB driver that comes with the operating system, so all you need to do is connect the camera to your Macintosh using the USB cable.
