Mounting Before mounting this f ixture, read and follow th e safety rec ommend ations indic ated in
the Safety Notes (p ag e 2 of t his manual).
Orientation
Always mount this fixtur e in an y saf e position while m aking s ure th at there is adequate
room around it for ventilati on .
Make sure to mount t his fi xture away f rom an y flamm able materi al as indic ated i n the
Safety Notes (pag e 2 of this manual).
Rigging
CHAUVET® r ecommends follow ing the general g uidelines below w hen mounting the
Legend 300E Spot.
· When selecting an install ation location, consider eas e of access to the fixture for
operation, programmi n g ad jus t ments, and routin e maintenance.
· Never mount the fi xture in places wher e rain, high humidit y, extreme temperat ure
changes, or restricted ventilation may affect it.
· If hanging this fi xture, make sure that the location wher e you are mounting th e
fixture can support its weight. Please s ee the Technical Sp ecifications section of this
manual for the weigh t requirement of t his fixture.
Procedure
The Legend 300E Spot c omes with an alread y installed m ounting br acket to which you
will be able to att ach the two includ ed omega clamps. B e aw ar e th at you will have to use
two mounting points per fixt ure. In addition, you w ill have to use a saf ety c able ( not
included) to link t he fixture to the str ucture.
