Control Panel

Description

Button Function
<MENU> Exits from the current m enu or function
<ENTER> En ables the currently displayed menu or s ets the currently s elected

LCD Display

The Legend 300E Sp ot features a b acklit liquid cr ystal display (LCD ) that provides
plenty of informati on r egardin g th e fixtur e’s s ettings and status . In additi on, t he LCD is
reversible. This allows reading it normally whether the fixture is on the floor or hanging
from a truss.
Upon power up, the LCD will show the Legend log o and the fixt ure identific ation, as
shown on the left figur e above. Af ter c ompleti ng the p ower up t ests, t he LCD wil l show
the DMX address, t he DMX mode, and th e temp eratur e, al ong wi th the warning sign if
the tests have detected an err or.
Press <ENTE R> to read the corresponding err or message (see Error Messa ges in
the Technical Information section ).
Press <ENTER > while looking at the error m essages to clear them.

Control Options

You can set the Leg end 300E Spot st art address in t he 001~512 DMX r ange. This
allows for the contr ol of u p to 17 fixtures in the 29-channel Mode 2. The Legend 300E
Spot works with any compat ible DMX controller using st andard DMX cables or the
optional W-DMX r eceiver.

Navigation Buttons

To enter programming mod e, press <MENU> until you see the Main M enu .
To highlight a menu option or to ch an ge a setting, press <UP> or <DOWN>.
To change menu levels as shown in the M enu M ap, press < ENTER> or <M ENU>. This
is equivalent to mo ving right and left of the M enu Map, respecti vely.
To accept the current or new val u e, press <ENTER> .
To return to the previous men u wit h ou t m aking changes, press <MENU>.
To exit programming mod e, press <MENU> until you see the M ain Menu or do not press
any button for 30 s econds.
