Safety Notes Please read the following notes
carefully because they include important safety
information about the inst allation, usage and maint enance of this product.
It is important to r ead all these notes before starting to work with this product .
There are no user serv iceable parts insid e this product. Any referenc e to
servicing it you may find from now on in this User M anual will only apply to
properly CHAUVET® certified te chnicians. Do not open the housing or attempt
any repairs unless y ou are one of the m.
Please refer to all applicable local codes and regulation s for the proper
installation of this product.
Personal Safety
· Avoid direct eye e xposure to the light s ource while the fixture i s on.
· Always disconnect this product from i ts power source bef ore servicing.
· Always connect this product to a grounded circ uit to avoid the risk of electroc ut i on.
· Lamp explosion hazar d! Do not open the lamp c over within five min utes of having
turned off the fi xture.
· The bulb remains hot for a long time aft er turn off. Never t ouch the bulb
barehanded and always h and le it by its metallic contacts.
· Do not touch this product’s hous ing when operating bec aus e it may be very hot.
Mounting and Rigging
· This product is f or indoor use only! T o prevent risk of fire or shock, do not exp os e
this product to rain or moistu r e.
· Make sure there ar e no flammable materi als close to this pr oduct while operating.
· When hanging this pr oduct, always secure it t o a fast eni ng device using a safety
chain/cable (not provided).
· Do not carry this fixture fr om the head; use the h andles instead.
Power and Wiring
· Always make sure that you are connecting th is product to the pr oper voltage, as
per the specifications in this man u al or on the product’s sticker.
· Connect this fixtur e ONLY to a grounded and protected circui t.
· Never connect this pr od uct to a dimmer pack .
· Make sure the fixtur e’s power cab le is not crimped or d am ag ed.
· Never disconnect t his product by pulli ng or tugging on th e power cable.
Operation
· Do not operate this f ixture if you see d amage on the housi ng, lenses, ultraviol et
filter, or cables; have th e dam ag ed parts replaced by an authoriz ed technician at
once.
· Do not aim this fi xture toward any surf ace closer than 16 f eet (5 m). Otherwis e, you
may damage or overheat th e illu mi n ated surf ace.
· Do not cover the ven tilation slots wh en the fixture is oper ating to avoid intern al
overheating.
· Do not aim this fi xture toward the Sun. O therwise, the lens es could concentr ate the
solar energy and cause int ern al ov er heating.
· The maximum ambi ent temperature (Ta) is 104° F (40° C). D o not operate this
product at a higher temper atur e.
· In case of a serious operating problem, s top using this prod uct immediately!
