DETAILED STEPS
Step 1 show mpls ldp discovery
Issue this command and check that the output contains xmit/recv to the peer router.
Example:
Router# show mpls ldp discovery

Interfaces:
ATM5/1/0.5 (ldp): xmit/recv
LDP Id: 10.0.0.1:0
Targeted Hellos:

Step 2 show mpls ldp neighbor
Issue this command to check that the targeted hellos are active.
Example:
Router# show mpls ldp neighbor
